Kano state fire service has confirmed the death of a four year old boy Mustapha Dalhatu at Kofar Dawanau in Ungoggo local government area of the state.
The public relations officer of the agency SFS Saminu Yusif Abdullahi confirmed the incident to newsmen in kano.

He explained that the agency recieved a rescue call from one Aminu Sani Shu’aibu that a young boy had accidentally fell into a well.
Saminu Yusif pointed out that on arrival the rescue team succeeded in retrieving the boy unconcious and later confirmed dead by health officials.
He said the body of the deceased has been handed over to the ward head of Dawanau, Alhaji Musa Habibu.
Similarly, Kano state fire fighters had quenched a fire outbreak at layin ‘Yan Robobi in Kofar Wambai Market in Kano municipal local government area.
Narrating the incident the spokesman of the agency maintained that one shop was affected by the inferno.
He said no life was lost during the incidence due to the prompt response of the Kano fire service.
The public relations officer charged the general public to maintain safety at all times,using fire and electric appliances with care and be more vigilant on children to avoid disasters.
