The Kano State Chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC has described the government’s decision to reverse the plan to increase the pump price of petrol as a victory for Nigerians.
The state NLC chairman, Kabiru Ado Minjibir disclosed this while briefing Journalists in Kano.
He described the decision as a victory for Nigerian workers and the people in general.
Kabiru Ado minjibir maintained that the labour bodies have vowed to reject plans by the federal government to remove fuel subsidies.

It could be recalled that the Kano State chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) had recently declared their readiness to join the planned nationwide protest against the federal government.
He added that the planned Strike has been suspended following a NEC meeting Conducted by the Stakeholder of the Union.
