The Kano state Gover.nor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Charge Traditional Rules to Expedite Action in Making their Contributions towards Addressing the Current Security Challenges.
Ganduje gave the Charge while presenting staff of office to the new emir of Gaya Emirates Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya at Gaya support complex, in Gaya Local Government Area of Kano State.
He congratulated the New emir and urged him to support Kano state government policies and programs to improve the well-being being of the populace.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje called on the emir to use his vest experience in promoting peace and education in his domain.
In his speech the sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Ab, Abubakar II urged traditional rulers and other political leaders to discharge their assigned responsibilities with dedication and fear of GOD.
He c urged the new emir to accord security issues paramount importance geared towards addressing numerous security challenges bedeviling the development of the nation.

In his acceptance speech the emir of Gaya Dr., Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya promised to do justice to everyone in his domin and seek the support of his people.
Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya urged the people of Gaya Emirates to be Law-abiding, vigilante, and to pray for the Nation to overcome security challenges in the country.
The ceremony was attended by senior government officials, Traditional Rulers, and other stakeholders.
