The Nigeria Association Of Women Journalists Kano State Chapter (NAWOJ) paid a condolence visit to the parent and family of late Hanifa.
The Vice Chairperson of the association Maryam Magaji Hamid led members of women’s Journalists from different media stations across kano State.
Comrade Maryam Hamid sympathised with the deceased family and called on the state Government and relevant stakeholders to seek justice for Hanifa and others minors that were been molested in the state.
Responding, the Mother of the deceased commended NAWOJ for the condolence visit, adding that Hanifa is loved by all as such she belong to all.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the Association Comrade Wasilah Ladan pointed out that, risen cases of molested is on the increase.
She urged the security agencies and Judiciary to bring Abdulmalik Tanko and co to book.
Wasilah Ladan prayed that Hanifa’s case will unveil hidden and unheard cases of minors in the State.
NAWOJ and other women’s concern Association will follow up the case till justice is served accordingly to the perpetrators.
Condolence prayer was offered by the Treasurer of the Association Habiba Sabo Abubakar.
