Kubau local government council has reiterated its determination to improve socio-economic development of residents of the council.
The council chairman Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman zuntu disclosed this while presenting the 2022 budget to council lagistlators in Kubau .
Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman zuntu explained that the council has budgeted over three point eighteen billion naira this fiscal year.
He pointed out that the capital expenditure represented sixty two percent while the recurrent expenditure thirty eight percent .
Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman zuntu described this year’s appropriation as budget of infrastructure to remodeled the local government area.
The chairman also reiterated the council’s commitment to improve it’s internally generated revenue from four point six million to seven million naira annually.
He solicited the support of the legislatures to move the council to greater high.
Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman zuntu commended the council directors’ efforts towards the early submissions of their budget.
He called on all stakeholders in the local government area to put hands on deck to achieve the desired objectives.
