The Excutive Secretary of Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency,SEMA Mallam Muhammed Mu’azu Mukaddas,Said” the State Emergency will work with Nigerian Security and civil Defense Corps ,NSCDC in Areas of Risk and disaster prevention management and other collaborative sectors.
The Excutive Secretary,Made this know at the command headquarter in Kaduna, when he led the management of the agency for a courtesy call to State Commandant . Dr Godwin Miebi, to seek Partnership in area of Security, disaster maganement capacity building among others .
He further said SEMA have so far been taking relief Materials to victims in various Communities affected by disaster,and Sentizes Communities on red alert of disasters that are likely to occur.
He describe NSCDC role as key stakeholder in Emergency management.. he appreciates the support and collaboration he enjoin with NSCDC Disaster Unit .also request for more support from the Command.
While responding the state commandant Dr, Godwin Miebi assured them of our readiness of the command to partner in security, capacity building,risk reductions, and do more since Disaster management is one of the core function and mandate of NSCDC.
” Our doors is always open to any agency that need our help and we will ensure we give maximum cooperation,also we will ensure we guide the life and property of every citizens of this Nation.
“And we are welcome any developments partner that seek our attention in giving out our best towards implementing Developmental projects in the areas of our operations. He concluded.
