Zamfara state government says its recruited one hundred and ten teachers to compliment government efforts in recovering what students lost due to closure of schools across the state.
The state Commissioner of Information, Ibrahim Magaji Dosara made this known at a press conference held at Government House Gusau.
He said that, 110 Additional teachers would provide more extra lessons to students in primary and secondary schools across the state to recover lost learning.

He said the state has 200 schools, and the teachers would be sent to various schools for their primary assignment especially the green schools which have no any element of security threats.
According to him, Amber schools would also be provided with those teachers as they have an element of security threats but minimal while those categorized as red schools would still remained closed as they are categories of schools with high risk of insecurity.
The Commissioner further lamenting that, not all the schools in the state were authorize to reopen, stressing that the insecurity situation in some areas of the state made it impossible to reopen schools in the affected areas.
Dosa explained that, the schools were ordered to reopened after consultations with the security experts who he said promised to deploy more security operatives to various schools in the state.
