A seven day free medical outreach for eye screening and cataract surgery is in progress in Kubau local government area of Kaduna state.
Executive chairman, Kubau local council Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman zuntu, while flagging off the exercise in the council primary health center, explained that the medical outreach will alleviate the suffering of rural communities.
Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman zuntu pointed out that about five hundred and fifty people with eye related challenges would benefited from the free medical outreach across the area.
He maintained that each person would be screened and given the necessary treatment, while who need eye glasses would also be given.
The chairman stressed the need for individual to strictly follow the doctors directives especially those who would undergo eye surgery to achieved desire aim.
Director Health, ALHAJI Umar yamusa reiterated the council’s commitment to improve health care delivery in the area.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed happiness over the council’s efforts and kindness in executing programs to better their lives.
They stressed the need for the council chairman to extend similar free medical outreach to other parts of human lives.
