The executive secretary of Kano state emergency management agency (SEMA),DR. Saleh Aliyu Jili has charged the general public to use fire and electric appliances with care to avoid disaster.
Dr. Saleh Jili made the call during a visit to Tsarande village in Ajingi local government area,to condole those affected by fire outbreak.
Dr. Saleh Aliyu Jili pointed out that the they were at Ajingi, on behalf of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to symphathize with victims over the unfortunate incident.

He said,the state government had recieved a comprehensive report and had sent relief items to reduce the effects of the inferno.
The executive secretary explained,that grain silos,trees and eight houses were burnt to ashes.Saying that SEMA has commenced investigation to unravel the mystery behind the fire outbreak.
“We are here to symphatize on behalf of the governor over the unfortunate incident.Am appealing to them to use fire with care as they cannot identify what trigged the fire”
Some of those affected who spoke to Radio Nigeria,Kabiru Ibrahim and Malam Ibrahim said they have lost over high number of millet and sorghum bags in their silos.
They explained that no life was lost during the incident due to the prompt response of Wudil fire service.
They appealed to Government, philanthropists and other relevant stakeholders to come to their aid as they have lost all what they have cultivated.
“After burning our grain storage which contains hundreds of bags the fire spread to residential areas”
Radio Nigeria reports that in January 2021,a fire outbreak razed three houses in Dawaki Gabas,Dawakin Tofa local government area,leading to the death of one Malam Abdullahi,which prompted the Kano state house of assembly to seek for the state government’s intervention in assisting those affected.
