Support Arewa Consultative Forum to uplift the well being of the society – Emir of Karaye

The Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II has called for greater support to enable Arewa Consultative Forum to serve as vanguard for the eradication of social ills afflicting the society.

Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II made the call while receiving the state chapter of Acf led by Air vice marshall  Hassan Abubakar Na-Shehu at his palace.

The Emir said, the forum as non governmental organization should continue to exhibit accommodation, tolerance, and selflessness as it pursued program sensitizing the communities. 

The Monarch described the reactivation of the state Acf chapter as good omen for the restoration of the glory, building and sustenance of peace towards assisting the authorities to solve many of the state teeming problems.

While assuring of Karaye emirate Council support and cooperation in all development programmes, the Emir thanked the forum for appointing him as a member of the Elders Board.

Earlier, the state chapter of the Arewa Consultative Forum Avm Hassan Abubakar Na-Shehu said, the visit was to congratulate the Monarch on his assumption of office as a first class Emir and to intimate him on the forum’s humanitarian activities.

Avm Hassan Abubakar Na-Shehu appealed to the traditional institutions in the state to actively join in the crusade to fight insecurity, banditry, rape, drug addiction and other forms of social violence and decay.

The Acf leader also spoke on the importance of women education, eradication of street begging in the state and the need for communities to remain vigilant as a yardstick for curtailing insecurity which has become major challenge of this part of the country.

Avm Na-Shehu has then announced the appointment of the Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II as a member of the Acf’s board of Elders billed to provide wisdom and render fatherly advice.

The Acf state chapter chairman was accompanied by publicity Secretary of the forum Alhaji Bello Sani Galadanchi, his Deputy Dr. Tanimu Getso, Hajiya Hadiza Kishimi and Youth representative Hafsat Namadi Bebeji durring the visit to the Emir.
