The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), Kano Chapter, on Saturday inaugurated its pioneer executive committee, with Mrs Christiana Oluranti-Danladi, emerging as its Chairperson.
The 11-member committee is expected to lead the society for the next two years.
Speaking after her investiture, Danladi promised to promote knowledge acquisition, training and health education for the SWAN members, she also pledged to ensure their participation in district activities.
According to her, mentorship of youth will be encouraged through career talks, training and catch-them-young programmes.
“We will conduct empowerment programmes for women and training on financial management, among others,” she explained.
