As Muslims all over the State and across the globe celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, Kano State Deputy Governor and APC Gubernatorial Candidate Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna while felicitating with them on the occasion called on the faithfuls to take cognisance of the virtues and significance of the festival and continue to exhibit obedience and total submission to the will of Allah (S.W.T).
According to him,the Eid-el-Kabir period should be used as a time for sober reflection and prayers towards Allah (S.W.T) for the progress of Kano State.
He also stressed the importance of unity,love,care,tolerance and peaceful-coexistence among the people of the State and the country in general.
The Deputy Governor who is presently in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj exercise also congratulated the Muslim pilgrims performing the Hajj for a successful Arafat and other rites.
He urged the Muslims to continue praying for prevailing peace on the insecurity bedevilling the country.
Gawuna however commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the peace,stability and security enjoyed in the State and also for the milestone achievements recorded in Agriculture,Education,Infrastructure,Health,Youths and Women Empowerment.
