The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples’ Redemption Party PRP in Kano state, Salihu Tanko Yakasai has felicitated with all the Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a message made available to Journalists, Tanko said the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations reminded Muslims, and Nigerians in general, of the need to sincerely love one another and pursue lasting peace and unity.
He encouraged them to continue to preach peace and unity.
Salihu Tanko Yakasai also expressed joy at the reception accorded to him by the Rano Emirate Council during the celebrations.
“I wish Kano Muslim faithful and indeed Nigerians for witnessing the 2022 Eid-el-Kabir. I urge them to always have in them the spirit of unity and peace and pray in a special way for the country which is passing through challenges.
“I also wish to categorically thank the Rano Emirate Council for hosting us and according to us with a very warm reception. We are most grateful.
Tanko called on all and sundry to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards to be able to vote for credible leaders in the forthcoming general elections.
