Hanifa’s Death : Court sentences Hanifa’s killer accomplices  Abdulmalik and Hashim to death  by Hanging

The Kano State High Court Presided over by Justice Usman Naaba has sentenced the Kidnapper five-year-old old Hanifa Abubakar to death by Hanging five-year years Imprisonment for all the five chalabeledelled against him.

The Court also found guilty the 2nd defendant in the case Hashim Isiyaku on four charges and sentenced him to death by Hanging and two years of Imprisonment for an attempt to Kidnap.

In the same vein, the State High Court Judge Justice Usman Naaba found guilty the 2nd and 3rd accused Persons, Hashim Isiyaku and Fatima Musa guilty in four counts of charges in the case of the Murder of the six years Hanifa Abubakar sometimes last year 

Delivering Judgment, the High Court Justice Usman Naaba, said the five Count Charges included the Kidnapping of Hanifa Abubakar, attempt Kidnapapped her, Counseling of Kidnapping her, about, cement and Poisoning her to death.

However the Presiding Judge found guilty Fatima Isiyaku for Conspiracy and attempt to Kidnapped and sent her nces to one year each Imprisonment because she is a Nursing Mother.

Earlier Abdulmalik Tanko, Hashim Isyaku, and Fatima Musa were arraigned on February 14 on five counts of charges of criminal conspiracy, attempt to kidnap, abetment, kidnapping, and killing, and concealing a dead body.

In his acceptance speech prosecution counsel who doubles as kano’s attorney general, Barrister Musa Abdullahi Lawan described Hanifa’s murder as a  crime against humanity and prayed to the court to ensure justice for the killing of the underage girl.

“When the  first defendant kidnapped Hanifa he never intended to free her alive as she is old enough to recognize him” 

Time express recalled that earlier kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje pledged to sign the death sentence passed by the court.
