National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency Zaria zone has Rehabilitated twelve Drugs Addicts .
The Deputy commander Drugs Demand Reduction and rehabilitation center Zaria, Mr Malo Elisha Bitrus disclosed this while speaking to newsmen in Zaria.
Mr, malo Elisha explained that about twenty addicted persons are currently under it’s rehabilitation unit.
He pointed out that most of the addicted persons were brought by their parents for counseling and Psycho Education.
The deputy commander solicited support of communities by exposing those selling drugs in the society.
Mr, malo Elisha appealed to religious, traditional leaders, philanthropist and sister security agencies to support the agency in discharging its responsibilities.
He advised youths to desist from taking illicit drugs substance without doctor’s prescription.
The deputy commander called on prominent individuals to assist the agency in sensitising the public especially youth on the dangers involved in drugs trafficking .
Some persons under rehab center thanked their guidance for taking steps to rehabilitated them so that they can be useful to the society.
