The labor party presidential candidate in the 2023 race Mr. Peter Obi has described the two tragedies that occurred at GSM market Beirut road and Kantin Kwari market as great losses to not kano state alone but the entire Nation.
Peter Obi stated this when he said a sympathy visit to both Beirut road GSM market and Kantin Kwari textile markets respectively.
The presidential candidate represented by the vice presidential candidate Dr. Yusif Datti Baba Ahmad said the building collapse at the GSM market was touching and disturbing.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to repose the soul of those who lost their lives during the unfortunate building collapse and wished the injured ones quick recovery.
Mr Obi also sympathized with the affected Flood victims of Kantin kwari textile market.
In his remark the chairman Beirut market mobile traders association Engineer Abubakar Usman applauded the labor party presidential candidate for the visit.
He said the association was working assiduously in ensuring those affected we’re supported.
” we are trying to get a befitting place for those who loss their place of business as a result of the collapses of this building , since it had been converted to a parking space by the government “
