As the days unfold, many happening events bring some testimonies to the forefront of the public glare.
Likewise in Kano political space, ingrained with perpetually developing incidents, it is very hard for one to get short of ideas for penning a piece that would be to an immense benefit of a keen reader.
The benefits embed with multiple lessons and food for thought that would stuff the brains, indicating that the teaching in life is endless – from cradle to grave.
Goes by the alleged feud which cracked the broad daylight relationship between Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and the Kano-based APC reigning singer, Dauda Abdullahi Adamu Kahutu popularly known as ” Rarara “
The development hasn’t come as surprise to many people who glimpse living as like merry-go-round events.
The intent of this piece wasn’t meant to delve deeply into what might likely be the causative factors, but whatever, it might be, is an outcome of a symbiotic, fair-weather relationship that starts to bear the awful prices.
Undoubtedly, Rarara is an erudite Hausa-singer, whom God in his infinite benevolence endowed with exceptional, natural skills, baritone, and fluidity of piping songs, with rhythmic musical tones, which are very appealing to the listeners.
The Rarara talent was initially discovered within the Kano political space under the auspices of his first Master, ex-Kano deputy governor, Tijjani Gwarzo, who brought him to the spotlight.
But, Dauda Adamu Kahutu within the span of his popularity has leaned under the guise of his God-given talent to sarcastically castigated some past Kano politicians, in exchange for huge financial gratification from his masters, standing on the power corridors.
The Rarara’s lyrical sarcasm knows no bounds, particularly to those who in the past hailed him as a celebrity hero, who are now branding him as a zero, accusing him of an ingrate mouth that bites the fingers that fed him.
On the flip side of the discourse, when the sailing was going free of tidal waves, his excellency, Khadimul Islam, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje made the Rarara what he becomes today.
Rarara under the path of destiny, his dream of pursuing the greener pastures in Kano got fulfilled to the highest peak under the able reign of Khadimul Islam.
He got fortunes, fame, and a network of political connections at both state and federal levels, to the extent of outshining the entirety of political singers in the whole of Kano, let alone northern Nigeria.
It is during the present tenure of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje paved the way for the embattled singer, to acquire more lucrative opportunities.
Even though nature wasn’t pleasantly favored by his facial features, but possessed large followership of Kannywood’s beautiful women artists as well as his male counterparts – because of his altruistic cause of giving freely.
Well, this is destiny and an act of God that needs no credentials to propel someone to stardom in one choosing endeavor, as does Rarara.
But, unfortunately, there wasn’t any time, the embattled singer was called to order for denting the ex-Kano governors and some other prominent politicians with unprintable names in his songs.
This has seemingly suggested that the political backing, has propelled his ego and pomposity to lyrically attack the foe in sarcasm.
And now, the boomerang has swung back to its launching base. And I do hope that Rarara did not draw the daggers deeply with Baba Ganduje.
The Khadimul Islam is like a slithering viper, only God knows when and where he spits venom to its preying victims.
