In the last few days, Kano was awash with the news of a middle aged mother of three Malama Yahanasu who advertised self for marriage in a radio station.
As luck might have it, immediately after the announcement, a potential husband presented himself and declared his readiness to answer her prayers.
The suitor Malam Surajo Ibrahim Kurna and Yahanasu decided to visit kano state hisbah board to seek for guidance.
The duo were received by commander general Kano state hisbah board Sheikh Dr Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina at the boards headquarters Sharada Kano.
Speaking to Radio Nigeria, Yahanasu pointed out she decided to visit the radio station to seek for a pious husband due to the condition she finds her self.
She noted that, anyone seeking for her hand in marriage must be willing to take care of her three daughters from a previous marriage.
Also speaking, father of four, Malam Surajo noted that he had decided to marry Yahanasu after listening to a radio program where she announced that she is an orphan with three daughters.
In his remarks, commander general Kano state hisbah board, Sheikh Dr Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina expressed satisfaction with the turo out of events.
He said the board would take necessary action such as genotype and HIV screening, marriage counseling and all other means of ensuring the marriage becomes legal.
While commending the couple for the confidence reposed on hisbah. He charged couples to live in peace and harmony to move the state forward.
Radio Nigeria reports that the Kano state hisbah board is saddled with responsibilities of promoting good and forbidden immoral acts and other societal vices.
