The National Population Commission has said that it is irrevocably committed to positively rewrite the history of census in Nigeria and deliver to this great country accurate reliable and acceptable census that will be relevant in the drive towards sustainable national development.
Federal Commissioner National Population Commission in charge of Niger state Muhammad Dattijo Usman stated this at a workshop on compendium of localities for the twenty twenty three Population and Housing Census held in Minna.
Alh Dattijo Aliyu explained that preparations for twenty twenty three Population and Housing Census are on course and the Commission is confident that the prospect for an accurate and reliable census appears brighter than ever.
He however appealed to Nigerlites to join hand with the Commission in its bid to give Niger state a reliable demographic data through the forthcoming twenty twenty three census.
According to Alh Dattijo Aliyu getting the twenty twenty three Population and Housing Census right is a task that must be done and the Commission is committed at ensuring that everything about census is done rightly and professionally to achieve maximum results.
In a Goodwill message Chairman of Gbako local government council Hussaini Aliyu said it is inview of the importance he attached to Population and Housing Census that he forfeit his office work for this assignment and assured them of his support at all times to succeed.
Acting INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner Niger state Malam Yakubu Duku maintained that the success of National Population and Housing Census is of great importance to them and that the will contrbute positively to ensure its success.
