Zaria Metropolitan Authority Assures Commitment to Maintaining Clean Environment

Zaria Metropolitan Authority has reiterated its determination to keep Zaria and inviroun clean.

Special Assistant to the Zaria Metropolitan authority Administrator Alhaji ABDULLHI Lawal Lere stated this in a telephone interview with radio Nigeria in Zaria.

Alhaji abdullahi Lawal Lere explained that about six firm have entered into agreement with the authority to evacuate refuse and sweep the dissignated streets within Zaria and inviroun.

He added that the firms would execute the jobs for three months in the first phase.

The special Assistant pointed out that about three hundred people are expected to be engaged under the program of keep Zaria clean.

He called on households and traders to imbibe the culture of dumping refuse at a dissignated sites .

Alhaji Abdullahi Lawal Lere charged the sweep vendors to ensure that the set objective of the keep Zaria and inviroun clean is achieved.
