Gov Badaru Donates N2million to Family of Slain Soldier

Governor Badaru Abubukar of Jigawa state has donated N2, 000,000 to the family of  Danjuma Danladi, a soldier who lost his life during an attack by suspected herdsmen in Guri local government area of the state.

Presenting, the money to the family of the deceased, the Governor Badaru who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Council Affairs/Special Services, Alhaji Abba Muhammad Kiyawa, said the N2, 000,000 was not given as rebate for losing their  loved one but only to support them and show concern of the state government.

Alhaji Abba Muhammad, while presenting the money to the Commander Operation Salama, Captain Magaji and son’s of the Slain Soldier, Shedrach Danladi, conveyed Jigawa state overnment’s condolence and urged the family to make good use of the money.

“The Government and people of Jigawa State share the grief of the Nigerian military, particularly the family of the bereaved soldier who died at a time the country needs him most”

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, adding that they salute and appreciate his supreme sacrifices. 

Responding on behalf of the family of late Danjuma Danladi, the deceased brother, Danjuma Saleh commended Governor Badaru Abubukar for the gesture.

He assured that the money will be equally shared among the family of the deceased.
