Inferno Destroys Tsangaya School in Kano

An afternoon fire has razed a Tsangaya model boarding primary school, located at Kiyawa village, Bagwai local government area,Kano state.

Reports indicate that, the fire completely destroyed 14 classes, 12 offices and 21 toilets, within the school premises.

Narrating the incident, the public relations officer Kano state fire service,PFS Saminu Yusif Abdullahi explained that, Bichi fire station recieved an emergency call from Alhaji Ghaddafi Sani Bagwai.

He highlighted that, on arrival the rescue team discovered that a building of 400 * 400 ft, used as Tsangaya Model boarding primary school, was engulfed by inferno.

Saminu Yusif stressed that , the fire started from the administrative block main building, after the solar system malfunctioned, and spread to other parts of the Tsangaya school.

The public relations officer pointed out that,no life was lost during the unfortunate incident,as all the students were successfully evacuated.

He reiterated the agency’s dedication in protecting the lives and properties of Kano residents.
