Jigawa State Government has donated motorcycles to Chairman, Secretary and 2 other members of a local security network, known as ‘Yan Bulala, in Sule Tankarkar local government area to improve their patrol and response strength.
Presenting keys of the Motorcycles to the beneficiaries, the Secretary to the State government, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini said the government considered it very necessary to provide the motorcycles to the ‘Yan Bulala.
Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini who was represented by the Director Special Services, Alhaji Yusuf Mukaddas, the SSG said the gesture was geared towards curbing crimes in the state, as there is no place for anything that would threaten the peace and safety of individuals and business across the State.
He further explained that that, Governor Badaru Abubakar has directed directorate of special services and council affairs to issue identity cards to all the 31 members of Yan Bulala in Sule Tankarkar local government area.
Abdulkadir Fanini pointed out that, the state government has directed Sule Tankarkar local government council to provide the members of the group with all the necessary working materials and to immediately commence payment of monthly standing order to all the members.
He assured of government’s continued commitment in the fight against banditary in the State.
Also speaking, the Vice Chairman, Sule tankarkar local government council, Alhaji Musa Waziri commended Governor Badaru Abubukar for his commitment in tackling the security problem in the State
Responding on behalf of the members of Yan Bulala in the area, the Chairman of the group, Malam Haruna Dawa commended Governor Badaru Abubakar for the gesture and assured that they will make good use of the bikes to improve their patrol in the Area.
