KNSG releases N300 Million Tuition Fees For Indigen Students at Cypress

In continuation of his strive to enhance youth empowerment through provision of sound and qualitative education, the State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved the release of sum of Three Hundred Million (N300,000,000) naira as Tuition fees for Kano State sponsored students at Near East University, Cyprus.

This was made known by the Commissioner for Higher Education, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure.

Dr. Bunkure said the payment its inline of the fulfilment of Ganduje’s promised to uplift the socioeconomic status of the teaming youth of the State through provision of qualitative and timely education.

The Honorable Commissioner thanked Governor for making the dream in to reality, ” A Big Kudos to Your Excellency Khadimul Islam. Indeed your Magnanimity is second to none” Dr. said.

She then used the opportunity to congratulate both the students and their parents for such an overwhelming gesture. Stressing the need to make best use of the acquired knowledge for the betterment of Kano state and Nigeria at large.
