The Standard Organization of Nigeria SON has reaffirmed Its determination In ensuring the standardization of Nigerian products , aimed at competing with global market.
The Director General of the agency Malam Faruk Salim stated this during the Mancap certificate presentation ceremony held in Kano.
Represented by the Zonal Director kano zonal office Mr Albert Wilberforce said the objectives of issuing the mancap certificate to the companies was to certify that their products have made the mandatory conformity assessment program.
He said the certificates presented to the 102 products have testified to the entire world that the products have met the minimum requirements and standard specifications.

” this is a clear demonstration that this products were up to standards and we assure Nigerian and the global community that they can patronized this products without any hesitation, their quality and safety is guaranteed”
The Director General noted that the presentation of the certificate to the companies would help them to grow,stressing that it will pave way for more job opportunities to the teeming populace, insecurity and other social vices would be resolved when youths have job to do.
He advised the beneficiaries to use the golden opportunity in uplifting the economy of the Nation.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries Hajiya Maryam Abubakar applauded the efforts of the standard organization of Nigeria for scrutinizing the standardization of their products.
She noted that they would not relent in adding more values and standardization to their products with the aim of boosting the nations economy and providing more job opportunities.
The ceremony was attended by companies executives, officials of SON , and other stakeholders.
