Uphold to the Skills Acquisition Learnt During the service year – Aisha Tata Tells Outgoing Corps Members

The NYSC State Coordinator in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad has Charged the 2021Batch C  Stream 2 Outgoing Corps Members to uphold the Skills Acquisition they learned during the service year, aimed at becoming self-reliant and employers of Labour.

Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad disclosed this during a low-key passing out ceremony held at the federal secretariat Kano.

The state coordinator represented by the Assistant Director Corp Discipline and reward Malam Badruddeen Aminu said a total of 2402 corps members graduated from the 2021Batch C stream 2.

He said the outgoing corps members have exhibited commitment and nationalism during the service year.

Aisha Tata Muhammad maintained that the corps members were trained on different types of Skills acquisition training, urging them to ensure that they uphold the skills learned,  geared toward becoming self-employed.

“As you all know, white collar jobs are not much available nowadays, hence you should ensure that you practice the skills you learned”

The coordinator noted that out of the 2404 outgoing corps members 6 were on the extension of their service years due to the offenses they commit, while 10 will repeat the service year.

She appealed to the graduating corps members to be good ambassadors of the scheme wherever they found themselves and wished them success in their future endeavors.

The ceremony was graced by parents and relatives of the graduands and other stakeholders
