The Kano State Government has guaranteed safety and protection for investors in the mining sector, assuring them of a secure environment to operate.
Alhaji Safiyanu Hamza Kachako, Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, made this assurance while receiving Mr. Alex Zhang, Managing Director of Zarthwish Company, a mining firm, in his office.
The Commissioner expressed commitment to a harmonious working relationship with investors, aiming to provide employment opportunities, enhance state internal revenue, promote community development, and safeguard the environment.

Mr. Alex Zhang, a Chinese national, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and optimism about the abundance of solid mineral deposits in Kano, citing laboratory-analyzed samples displayed during the meeting.
Zhang pledged to study the offer carefully and analyze which area of mining activity his company would collaborate with the Kano State Government to achieve target goals.
The Kano State Government, through the Ministry of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, remains committed to providing a conducive environment for investors in the mining sector.
