According to CP Jauro, the suspects include 24 alleged kidnappers and one armed robber. The police also recovered three firearms and eight rounds of ammunition during the operations.
The Commissioner revealed that preliminary investigations identified one of the suspects, Yahaya Suleiman from Akwanga Local Government Area, as a member of a notorious gang involved in the kidnapping of the son of the Emir of Takum in Taraba State.
He assured the public that all suspects would be charged to court and face the full weight of the law.
