A total of 3,309 prospective beneficiaries drawn from the 99 wards of Niger East Senatorial District sat for the aptitude test for the Senator Mohammed Sani Musa International Undergraduate Scholarship to Morocco on Monday.
The screening was held as part of the senator’s education intervention for youths in the district.
In a statement issued by the Sen. Sani Musa Media Office, the turnout was described as a testament to the confidence youths have in the initiative and their readiness to embrace education as a pathway to development.
“The remarkable turnout is a strong testament to the confidence, trust, and belief that the people, especially the youth, have in this life-changing educational initiative,” the statement said.
It added that the exercise reflects the readiness of young people to choose knowledge and reject social vices that hinder youth development.
The office commended the Scholarship Screening Committee led by Hon. Balarabe, as well as professors and academic experts from across Niger East, for ensuring a transparent, credible and seamless process.
The statement said the scholarship demonstrates the commitment of Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, CON, to investing in human capital development and empowering the next generation through quality education and global opportunities.
