The Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) has unveiled 528 youth ambassadors in Kano as part of efforts to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.

The Director-General of A4A, Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar, disclosed this during the unveiling ceremony on Wednesday, expressing confidence that the President would secure massive votes across Northern Nigeria.
Badaru, a former Minister of Defence and former Governor of Jigawa State, said the large turnout of youths at the event demonstrated growing enthusiasm for the President’s re-election campaign.
He described youths as critical stakeholders in the electoral process, stressing that their participation would play a significant role in mobilising grassroots support for Tinubu.
“The large number of enthusiastic youths who came out for this programme gives us greater hope, beyond our conviction that the North already stands firmly with the President,” he said.
The former minister said the ambassadors would be deployed across Kano State’s 44 local government areas and 484 wards to educate residents on the policies, projects and empowerment initiatives of the Tinubu administration.
He maintained that the campaign would focus on presenting the administration’s achievements to voters rather than relying on political propaganda.
“We do not need propaganda for this campaign. What we are presenting are the projects and human empowerment initiatives of the administration, which we intend to showcase to the people to garner support for the President,” Badaru said.
He added that the ambassadors would engage communities across the state, highlighting projects and programmes they believe have contributed to development in the North.
Also speaking, the Kano State Coordinator of A4A and former Minister of State for Housing, Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo, said the youth ambassadors were carefully selected based on their integrity and capacity to contribute to the campaign.
Gwarzo said the initiative was designed to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and ensure that residents were adequately informed about the administration’s policies and achievements.
He noted that development projects across Northern Nigeria would be presented to voters as part of the organisation’s efforts to secure support for Tinubu in 2027.
The coordinator further disclosed that the ambassadors would work with supporting agents at ward level to strengthen political engagement and promote effective coordination during the elections.
He said the arrangement would also encourage electoral accountability and ensure that the process reflected the choices of voters.
Badaru announced that A4A would soon inaugurate its Abuja office, alongside other liaison offices across the country, to expand the organisation’s operations and coordinate its activities nationwide.
