The water project which commenced from Tiga Dam to Rano and it’s environs worth over fourty million naira, has been described as a welcome development.
The chairman of Rano Local Government Alhaji Dahiru Muhammad Ruwan Kanya stated this while briefing the local government Information officer in his office.
He said when completed, the project will solve the acute water shortage in Rano and it’s environs.
While speaking on the importance of the project, Alhaji Dahiru Muhammad Ruwan Kanya called on all and sundry in the area to give their support to the contractor handling the project for successful completion.
He commended the state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for given the local government approval to execute the project and called on people of Rano to reciprocate the gesture by coming out enmasse to vote APC in the forthcoming general elections.
