Some group of Muslims in Zaria, Kaduna State, conducted a special prayer to seek Allah’s intervention on the present hardship being faced by Nigerians.
The special prayers that was performed at Mallawa Eid praying ground in Zaria had in attendance both male and females from different parts of the town.
The Chief Imam of Bakin kasuwa Jumaat mosque,Malam Muhammadu Sani Labudda who led the special prayer described the present hardship as unbearable that needed Allah’s intervention.
He said the situation in the country was so dire that requires collective prayers especially as prices of essential commodities are shooting by the day when Muslim faithful were approaching the Holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking shortly after the prayers,Suleiman ibrahim, Head of Islamiyya schools association in zaria, said “This is the time when people should come together to strengthen their faith and improve on their worship so that Allah can bring succour to the populace.”
Suleiman also encouraged Muslims to prioritize giving arms to the needy and the less privilege while avoiding all sins as a way repentance.
Earlier, Sheikh Muhammadu Dan Tine Habibi and Umar Dikko mai shinkafa of Fitiyanul Islam zaria, stressed the wisdom and importance of conducting special prayers whenever the society face unresolved challenges.
They urged Muslims to always fear Allah in all they do and seek repentance from their sins as another way of attracting divine intervention
