The security sweep covered Bariki Fulani Settlement, Rugar Fulani and Kwangara Village, all within Sundumina District of Birnin Kudu LGA, following credible intelligence on suspected criminal activities in the area.

Police sources confirmed that three suspects—identified as Adamu Abubakar, 30; Sale Yakubu, 30; and Mamman Saidu, 17—were apprehended during the operation. A thorough search of the suspects and the surrounding areas led to the recovery of a cache of incriminating items.
