The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, Sani Musa, has congratulated Umaru Muhammad Bago on the occasion of his 52nd birthday, describing him as a visionary and people-oriented leader committed to transforming Niger State.
Musa, who represents Niger East Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), conveyed his goodwill message in a statement issued to newsmen in Kano on Monday.
In the statement, the lawmaker lauded Governor Bago’s pragmatic leadership style and unwavering dedication to policies and programmes aimed at improving the living standards of citizens across the state.
According to Musa, the governor’s administration has recorded remarkable achievements in key sectors, including agriculture, infrastructure, education, road construction, and healthcare delivery. He noted that these initiatives have not only accelerated development but also earned the governor admiration and respect among the people of Niger State.
“Governor Bago has demonstrated exceptional vision and commitment to the progress of our dear state. His people-oriented projects and bold reforms are laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth and prosperity,” the senator stated.
Musa urged the governor to remain steadfast in prioritizing initiatives that directly impact the welfare of the people, emphasizing the importance of continuity in developmental efforts.
He offered prayers for continued strength and wisdom for the governor as he marks his 52nd birthday.
“I pray that God grants him good health and the grace to continue implementing policies and programmes that will further improve the lives of Niger State’s citizens. Happy birthday to our dynamic governor,” Musa added.
Governor Bago has, since assuming office, placed significant emphasis on agricultural revitalization and infrastructural renewal, positioning Niger State as a key driver of economic growth in the region.
