The Chairman council of Chiefs and Emir of Zazzau, Mal. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has urged nursing mothers to submit their children below five years to receive Polio vaccine and other routine immunizations.
He stated this while Flagging off the first round of 2022 Polio immunization in Zaria local Government Kaduna State.
Mal. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, who commended the Kaduna State Government and health personnel for their commitment in delivering quality health services appealed to stakeholders and parents to fully support the exercise.

In a message, the Chairman Zaria Local Government, Aliyu Ibrahim, urged leaders of traditional and religious institutions to assist in mobilizing people on the importance of Polio vaccine to the health development of children as leaders of tomorrow.
Represented by the Vice Chairman Yusuf Idris, the Council Chairman thanked the Zaria Communities for their support to government programmes and assured of the council’s readiness to provide effective health care services.
Also speaking, Executive Secretary Primary health care agency Dr. Hamza Abubakar confirmed that Over Two point Seven million Children are to be immunization against Polio disease across the state.
Represented by the Director Disease prevention and Control Hamza Ibrahim Ikara urged parents to give mximum support for the success of the program.
