FUDMA CEC to establish 5 study centres in Katsina

The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) Continuing Education Centre (CEC) is to establish Five study centres across Katsina state to boost its outreach and provide avenue for many to have access to university education as well as boost teaching and learning in the state.

The centres are to be located at Malumfashi, Charanchi, Funtua, Daura and Katsina Local government areas.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations officer of the university Habibu Umar Aminu said Already an approval for the establishment of these centres has been approved by Katsina state government in a letter received by the university CEC Director.

In the letter conveying the approval signed by the state Director, Senior Secondary Schools, Yau Jibrin said the state commissioner of Education has approved the setting up of the centres with high regards.

The University Vice Chancellor Prof. Armayau Hamisu Bichi has since welcome the development which is in line with his aspiration and determination to expands the frontiers of the university within and outside the state.

Bichi expressed his appreciation to the government for the approval and assured that the centres will go a long way in proving access to quality education to the teeming populace of the state as well as bring tertiary education closer to people.
