Dr sadiq ldi of Federal cooperative college kaduna have described that cooperative Societies is the only best solution to Nigerian workers in meeting their quick demand.
The Don said “the workers should be forming cooperative Societies,that will involve in agricultural activities in order to feed ourselves and this will also assist this country in having food security he calls on Nigerians to invest more on havesting agricultural crops than importing .
Dr Sadiq is speaking at a one day Workshop organize by institute of Co-operative professionals of Nigeria kaduna state chapter, with the Theme”co-operative building a better worker”
He further said”Because since we discovered crude oil in this country agricultural activities have been abandoned, instead of giving it more attention, because it was through agricultural activities that we discovered the crude oil,now it have abondoned neglected or taking for granted.
He added that “Banks, Schools,and companies can be own and manage through cooperative Societies not only on agricultural but other investment can take place through the money realized from other investment.s
Also Speaking a retired Civil servant Mr George Bari ,said “the lmportant of co-operative society to workers cannot be overemphasize as it helps the workers to own basic amenities, like food items House, Land motorcycle car and also something can just comes up which you will require money quick but been in the co-operative society you can get it early.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Kaduna state Chairman of the institute ,Mallam Muhammad Ashafa said the aim of the workshop is to train educate and sentize the members of the lmportant of co-operative society, and what the co-operative Society do to it members.
