Kano State All Progressive Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo has rejoiced with Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir festival, urging them to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice the period symbolizes.
Garo also called on Muslims to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival with moderation and embrace peace among one another.
The deputy governorship candidate, in his Eid-el-Kabir message to Muslims , however, encouraged them to take cognisance of the symbolic significance of the festival and imbibe the lessons of obedience as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
Garo in the statement he personally signed on Saturday, emphasised the need for unity, love, and tolerance among the people..
The statement congratulated the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and his deputy who is also the governorship candidate of the APC, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
‘’ I am congratulating the five Emirs in the state and all Muslims for witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir festival and wishing a happy sallah celebration, ‘’the statement added.
