Kano state government has appointed Alhaji Lawan JINJIRI Kurmawa, as managing director Kano zoological garden and wildlife management agency.
While receiving the new managing director, former acting MD who doubles as director admin and general services, Kano zoological garden, Malam Kawu Garba charged staff of the agency to rededicate themselves to their duties to achieve the desired objectives.
While welcoming Alhaji Lawan, he reaffirmed the commitment and cooperation of the staff to move the agency forward.
In his acceptance speech, the new managing director Kano zoological garden and wildlife management agency, Alhaji Lawan Jinjiri Kurmi, commended Kano state government for the confidence reposed in him.
He explained that his doors are open to suggestions as he will dedicate himself in uplifting the zoological garden to international standards.
Time Express reports that, the former managing director of the zoo, Alhaji Saidu Gwadabe Gwarzo resigned his position to contest in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
