The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on Wednesday announced that the federal government will launch a redesigned new currency notes on December 15, 2022.
According to Godwin Emefiele, governor of the bank, who made the announcement, the new currencies to be redesigned are N1,000, N500 and N200 notes.
