Dr. Mansur Mukhtar Bags the Title of Sarkin Bai Kano

The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has Turbaned Dr. Mansur Mukhtar as Sarkin Bai Kano.

The Colourful Ceremony was Conducted at the palace of the Emir of Kano Amids family members, friends, and well Wishers from within and outside of the country.

Speaking during the ceremony, the Emir of Kano said Dr. Mansur Mukhtar who succeeded his late father was turbaned in recognition of his wealth of experience and service to humanity.

He advised the new Sarkin Bai to use his vast experience in moving the Emirate Forward and should emulate his late father in exhibiting decorum to his subjects.

The New Sarkin Bai of Kano Dr. Mansur Mukhtar expressed his appreciation for being worthy to succeed his father and pledged to contribute his quota towards the development of the kano Emirate and the country at large.

The grand ceremony was graced by the Deputy Governor of Kano state who represented Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, serving and former ministers, diplomats, and former state Governors among others
