Items Worth million of Naira were on last Sunday distroyed by fire outbreak at the National Immunization office(NPI) of Rogo Local Government.
Speaking while recieving a powerful delegation from the Primary Health Care Management Board the Chairman of Rogo Local government Alh Mubarak Bashir Fulatan represented by the Deputy Chairman of the Council Alhaji Sabiu Surajo Rogo explained that, the course of the fire which was still unknown destroyed the Vaccines store facilities, documents as well as the entire building structure.
He further stated that, the local government on its part has directed the
works department of the local government to complied assessment report on the fire incident so as to enable the local government to take an appropriate measures.
Earlier in his remarks, the Executive Secretary of the State Primary Health Care Management Board Dr. Tijjani Hussain represented by the Program Manager SERICC Dr. Habib Tijjani Gwarzo desribed the incident as very unfortunate and can bring about a set back on the performance and conduct of the Routine Immunization in the area.
He assured that all necessary measures would be taken to provide an emergency measure after compiling the report by the assessment team.
