Kubau local government council has reiterated its determination to kick out poliomyelitis in the area.
The council chairman Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman zuntu disclosed this while flagging off the polio immunization campaign in Kubau ward.
Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman Zulu explained that about a hundred and seventy-five thousand children were targeted for the immunization exercise.
He stressed the need for Households to accept the immunization exercise to achieve desired objectives.
The chairman charge health officials to discharge their duties professionally to face global challenges.
The Director of the health department Alhaji Yamusa Umar pointed out that already the council had conducted a series of stakeholders meeting toward the success of the three-day immunization exercise.
Also, the State Technical facilitator of the Kubau local government Area Mr, George Inusa charged residents to cooperate with health officials towards the success of the program.
