Prof. Gwarzo donates N5 million cameras to FUDMA, others

The President and Founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) Conglomerate, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has donated cameras two cameras worth N3 million to Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina State,

Similarly, Prof.Gwarzo has donated one camera each to Dan Dicko Dan Koulodo University, Maradi and the Niger Republic Ministry for Higher Education.

Prof.Gwarzo announced the donation while presenting the items to the Vice Chancellor of FUDMA, Prof. Armaya’u Bichi in Maradi, Niger Republic on Wednesday.

The President of MAAUN and Vice Chancellor of FUDMA were in Maradi to attend matriculation ceremony of newly admitted students of Dan Dicko Dan Koulodo University, which took place on Tuesday, February 22.

Receiving the items, the Vice Chancellor of FUDMA, Prof. Armaya’u Bichi thanked Prof. Gwarzo for the gesture.

He said that FUDMA had no words to express its gratitude over the gesture as the university had benefitted alot from Prof. Gwarzo’s magnanimity as he recently donated a luxerious bus, an ambulance and furniture to the University.

In his remarks, The Vice Chancellor of UDDM, Prof. Mamane Sani described Prof. Gwarzo as committed person who promotes education in entire African Continent while appreciating him for the support he has been giving to the university.

Also speaking, Niger Republic Minister for Higher Education, Dr Mamoudou DJibo expressed appreciation to Prof. Gwarzo for donating the camera to the press unit of the ministry.

The Minister, who thanked Prof. Gwarzo for the gesture, said Niger Republic is proud of Prof. Gwarzo for the tremendous support he has been giving to the education sector in the country and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.

Meanwhile, the management of Dan Dicko Dan Koulodo, Maradi, has honoured the President of Proprietors of Private universities in Africa Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo who is also the President and Founder of Maryam Abacha American University of Niger and Nigeria.

The Vice Chancellor of the the UDDM university, Prof. Mamane Sani said the decision to honour Prof. Gwarzo with the Award in recognition of the support and assistance Prof. Gwarzo has rendering to UDDM.(End).
