Emir of zazzau MAL Ahmad Nuhu bamalli has said the emirate remain committed to partner with relevant authorities to execute afforestation project.
The emir stated this during the launching of the Zaria afforestation project held at mallawa Eid praying ground Zaria.
Zaria afforestation project is a partnership between the zazzau emirate, Yusuf Bala Usman institute and Kaduna state ministry Environmental and natural resources
Mal Ahmad Nuhu bamalli explained that zazzau emirate had a recorded history where they committed themselves in planting trees to protect the Environment from desertification.
The emir charged traditional and religious leaders to support the relevant authorities to protect the Environment.

miss Noma pharchonik said the institute has set aside six thousand tree seedlings to share across the emirate as well as secondary and primary schools under Zaria ,Sabin gari local government areas.
She solicited the support of traditional and religious leaders in protecting the Environment through monitoring and nursing after planting.
In their separate remarks the chairmen Zaria and sabon Gari local government areas Engineer Aliyu idris and Engineer Muhammad Usman reiterated their commitment to reintroduce the program and policies of tree planting to reduce Envirounmental pollution in their areas.
