The vice chancellor of Yusuf Maitama sule university Kano (YUMSUK) professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa says the University under his stewardship had secured accreditation of 33 undergraduate courses and 45 post-graduate courses.
Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa stated this during an interview with a journalist in kano.
He said since his assumption as the vice-chancellor of the university efforts have been put in place in ensuring that all the courses studied at the university have full accreditation.
“When we came on board we ensure that all courses are duly visited by the Nigerian universities commission so that they will have interim accreditation or full accreditation
NUC approves new programmes for YUMSUK
The vice chancellor maintained that the university also succeeded in mounting post-graduate training at the university which was graciously approved by the Nigerian universities commission.
Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa noted NUC had also given the university the approval to mount additional 13 undergraduate courses, which include Bsc Taxation, Bsc Industrial Chemistry, Bsc Cyber Security, Bsc Software, Engineering, And Bsc Industrial mathematics Among others.

The vice chancellor reassured the commitment of the university to providing a more conducive atmosphere for learning for both the students and staff.
