High Profile Personalities Attends Lamido’s Daughter Wedding at Bamaina

Hundreds of friends, relatives, political associates and well wishers of Former Jigawa state Governor Sule lamido converged at Bamaina town in Birnin kudu local government Jigawa state to witness the wedding fatiha of his Daughter Surayya Sule lamido with her husband Yazeed Shehu Danfulani, the Zamfara State commissioner of commerce and Industries.

The ceremony was presided over by the Imam of Bamaina town Central mosque, Mallam Kafil Suleiman.

The PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar stood as the bride’s trustee while the Deputy Governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Nasiha served as the groom’s trustee.

The Imam announced the payment of N100,000 as the bride’s price, after which the trustees of the groom and bride announced their consents to the union.

Some Governors who witnessed the wedding fatiha include, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state, Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu and members of the party’s board of trustees led by Alhaji Walid Jibril.

Other dignitaries are former Vice President Alhaji Namadi Sambo, former National Security Adviser, Alhaji Aliyu Gusau and former ministers of Special Duties and Police Affairs Alhaji Tanimu Turaki and Adamu Maina Waziri.

Also at the event were the former Governors of Kaduna state Alhaji Mukhtar Ramallan Yero, Alhaji Ahmed Makarfi, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu of Bauchi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe state among other dignitaries and traditional leaders.
