The member House of Representatives representing Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi federal constituency Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya Saturday kicked off women and youth empowerment in the constituency.
According to him in last three years many people has benefited from various AMG Empowerment programmes including poultry training, grinding machines, electric generators, Water Bump generators aimed at touching lives of downtrodden. In addition to the infrastructure, development including construction of 30 blocks of twins classrooms, a Dam in Falankawa in Ajingi and construction of Panda to Albasu Road.
The federal lawmaker made the revelations at the distributions of six million naira cash to 3001 beneficiaries at the Gaya Town hall .

He observed that even though the primary duties of a legislator was to make laws for the well-being of the people, but found it duty bound to contribute his quota in alleviating various forms of suffering among the people in the constituency, adding that the beneficiaries were drawn from Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi local government areas of the state where each beneficiaries will receive N20000 each.
Saying considering the current reality in the country where things are increasingly difficult for the people I had pledged to electorates and party members that I will identifying my effort in conducting more empowerment which will be in 12 tranches from now to February 2023.
Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya explained that part of the designed AMG empowerment tranches two weeks ago AMG medical outreach targeted 300 patients which received free drugs in addition with the donations of vehicles to the party chieftain from Gaya, Ajingi and Albasu Local Government areas.
Hon Mahmud Gaya urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the money to enhance their economic status and also thinking the people of the area for their continue support to enable him bring more developmental projects to consolidate existing recorded and infrastructural advancement.
