The newly appointed commissioner for Education in Kano Alhaji Ya’u Abdullahi Yan Shana has reassured his commitment to ensuring that the ministry has reached high status on effective service delivery.
Yan Shana stated while addressing the staff of the ministry when he assumed duty at the headquarters of the ministry, Gidan Murtala Kano.
He said he will use his vast knowledge of experience in ensuring that the educational sector has achieved greater heights.
‘ I pledged to work with you with honesty and dedication, and I solicited your support and cooperation to achieve the set objectives “
The new commissioner noted that his vision was to make the sector among the best in the country.
Alhaji Ya’u Yan Shana maintained that Ganduje’s Administration has accorded much priority to the educational sector, saying the implementation of free and compulsory was a clear demonstration of the commitment, hence the general populace should reciprocate the gesture by supporting government policies.
