Management of federal college of education FCE Zaria has promised to support associations that will contribute towards maintaining academic standard in the college.
Provost of the college Dr Sulaiman Balarabe stated this while inaugurating a committee that will oversea the affairs of Women in the College of Education, WICE college chapter.
Dr Sulaiman Balarabe explained that the management is committed to uplifting women in college of education to compete favourable with their male counterpart.
Also the chairperson of the women in college of education committee Dr, Binta Muhammed from chemistry department said the association have constructed a women Lodge, suitable section for nursing mothers and resting area.
Dr, Binta Muhammed noted that the association would pay more attention in guidance and counseling ,drugs abuse and welfare of its members.
Dr ,Amina Abdulkadir Salanke called on members of the women in college of education FCE Zaria to give the committee maximum support to achieve desired objectives.
speaking, the pioneer interim caretaker of the women in college of education FCE Zaria chapter Dr, Ifioma Induke from English department said they left behind legacies to next generation by building the Secretariat and women skills aquisition center during their tenure.
The Secretary of women in college of education FCE Zaria chapter was name after the serving provost Dr Sulaiman Balarabe Secretariat.
